Weekly Link Round-Up #59

Nice, 2 days off this week, so hopefully I will be able to get my redesign finished up. Here are a few interesting links from this past week:

  • Four resources to consider when starting a project

Cameron gives a nice list of resources to use before starting a project:

    1. Precedent: Who’s done it already and how?
    2. External data.
    3. Internal data & knowledge.
    4. Educated guesses.
  • Sign in, register, join?

This is a really interesting collection of data. What terms are used for new and existing users? Another interesting thing that I found was people using “Login” vs. “Log in”.

  • Web Standards: Where the ROI is

Sometimes it’s hard to sell web standards to people, but Molly gives some excellent points to help back us up.
