Weekly Link Round-Up #53

Another busy week for me. I’ve finally finished my review of my experience at An Event Apart Chicago, and I will be publishing it later this week. Yes, I know it’s weeks late, but it is really long and was helpful in helping me remember what I learned. So, here are the links I found interesting last week:

  • Attack Ad Generator A political attack ad generator full jQuery goodness.
  • Free Site Validator Scan your entire website to search for validation errors. Although, when I tried it, it didn’t seem to get further than the home page. Good idea in concept at least.
  • @font-face in IE: Making Web Fonts Work Jon Tangerine discuses how the current state of @font-face embedding and how to implement it.
  • Prototyping with XHTML Really nice overview of the process of prototyping. It’s not anything we don’t already know, but it’s nice to see the entire process described in words.
  • Expression Engine Developer’s Toolbox Expression Engine seems to be the hot new thing and for good reasons. I have begun to play with a little bit, but I am trying to learn as much as possible about it.
