Weekly Link Round-Up #34

It has been crazy times at work recently. I am in the process of slicing three sites at the same time. In all the madness, this is what I found interesting last week:

• The Missing Link I love that we have Eric Meyer fighting on our side. Eric discusses how the href attribute should be allowed on many elements instead of a few. He even goes on to show examples and discuss the pros and cons.
• A List Apart: Issue 260 Another couple of solid articles from A List Apart: Writing an Interface Style Guide and Saving the Spark: Developing Creative Ideas.
• Design isn’t about tools This was kind of the end of a great discussion from 37 Signals and Jeff Croft. I think I agree with most of Jeff’s points. I think it definitely depends upon the product that you are trying to make, and I think 37 Signals has nailed down their simplistic style, so Photoshop is not necessary.
