Weekly Link Round-Up #28
Man am I happy it’s the weekend. Have been working on a project at work that has a real short deadline, so I’ve been busy. I’m looking forward to Sunday because I’m running a 10 mile race and going to the Wizards playoff game. There were a lot of interesting things that I found this week:

I’ve heard a lot about Ruby on Rails, but I never really looked too much into it. - 5 Principles And Ideas Of Setting Type On The Web
Nice set of guidelines and resources for working with type on the web.
- Criticism: Myths and Childishness
I love how Andy doesn’t hold back. He just says it how it is. This is definitely something I’m starting to understand more and more as I get more experience.
- Five More Principles Of Effective Web Design
Some nice tips and resources here. These articles are really interesting to me right now as I am working on the next design for my site.
- CSS Gradients, Transforms, Animations, and Masks
The latest version of WebKit has added some pretty cool CSS properties. If only all browser makers would continue to advance their browser as fast as WebKit does, it would be a much better world on the web.
- Working Within Limitations to Achieve Great Designs
Some nice minimalist strategies for achieving great designs.
